All-new MG Extender coming to Pakistan?

In the Pakistani automobile market, MG Extender will likely challenge the monopoly of Vigo, Revo, Isuzu D-Max and Foton Tunland.

Earlier this year, Javed Afridi, JW Auto Park owner, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the British carmaker MG Motors to bring electric vehicles in Pakistan.

Javed Afridi, the owner of a franchise in Pakistan Super League (PSL) and the CEO of Haier Pakistan has from time and again expressed his desire to bring Morris Garages (MG) Motor UK Limited to Pakistan. But only recently, the businessman announced that two models of MG Motors namely MG HS and MG ZS EV were being launched in Pakistan in 2020.

But it doesn’t end there; now we hear that MG is planning to launch a giant pickup truck labelled MG Extender in Pakistan. The British company claims that it will offer performance, safety and durability.

If we look at the interior we find a mesmerizing cabin with the door panels and dashboard made out of a soft-touch material to provide maximum comfort. The truck comes with black leather, electrically adjustable seats that can recline up to 150 degrees while the rear seats are foldable only.

On the infotainment front, we find a large 10-inch screen that can also connect to mobile phones, Apple or Android via Bluetooth to play your favourite songs or podcasts during your journeys. On the front console, there are 2 USB ports to cater to your energy needs. The steering wheel, just like all modern vehicles has a multi-function button for increased comfort. and accessibility.
