Don’t boo—march.
Thousands of women, who have somehow not lost their minds this week despite some very good reasons, have instead joined forces to organize a march on Washington, D.C. Over inauguration weekend in January, women—a million of us, ideally—will convene in a mass protest to oppose Donald Trump. Participants will march from the Lincoln Memorial to the White House. According to preliminary plans posted on Facebook, the march will take place on Saturday, January 21, the day after Trump is sworn in as America’s 45th president. The details of the event are not yet final, but organizers have launched individual Facebook groups in key states to help women make arrangements to be at the demonstration.
