PM Modi’s tea stall to become a tourist attraction

Culture Ministry of India, in an act of reverence for their Prime Minister, has decided to turn his unused rusted tea stall in Vadnagar railway station as the tourist attraction for the world.

15 million dollars has been dedicated for this purpose by the Ministry of Culture, Mahesh Sharma the minister for culture expressing his views said that “Looking into the historic importance of the stall, we have decided to modernize it.”

Gujarati Prime Minister Modi is known for his humble background. His biography tells that among the six siblings, Modi at a very early age of his life started working on his tea stall with his father, Damodardas Mulchand Modi.

The focus is to help emerge Vadnagar as a historical tourist site on the world map. For this Vadnagar’s Sarmishta Lake, a clock tower, Buddhist excavation sites, and the railway station will be renovated to keep the tourists interested.

Mr. Modi repeatedly made mentions about his roots and background during his presidential election campaign, as a symbol of pride, calling himself as the son of “Chai-wala”.

District Collector, Alok Pandey, while discussing further the project told that apart from the Tea Stall there are other seven to eight sites included in the plan.

The Minister also said that apart from being the birthplace of their leader, the Archaeological Survey India have found the remains of Buddhist Monastery, in their excavation project which is still going on in Vadnagar.

However, apart from having humble roots, the things changed much faster when Prime Minister Modi took the charge of his office.

Narendra Modi, apart from carrying out his legislative responsibilities has been evident in keenly following his image building. Apart from his official designation, his dressing sense has been pivotal in giving him worldwide media attention beyond expectations.

None of the previous Indian Prime Ministers have been so influential in terms of dressing style than Modi.
