Salman Khan shares the tricks of his trade

News Desk |

As Salman Khan is set to launch his brother-in-law Ayush Sharma in the upcoming movie ‘Love Yatri’ he offered some valuable advice to the aspiring performers in the industry. Salman Khan with his ups and downs has successfully completed a remarkable 30 years in the industry. He in his latest media talk claimed ‘Love Yatri’ to be a huge success and also dismissed the assertions of nepotism.

Regarding Ayush Sharma, the lead actor in the movie, Khan said,” Ayush is working hard” and if not him someone else would have launched him. “He has been training hard. I knew this nepotism thing would come up. He is the son of a politician. How can you put him into this nepotism thing? This is the only one place where nepotism cannot work at all. It is the audience that will make you a superstar or will reject you no matter whose son or a brother-in-law you are,” Khan commented.

“I remember when Maine Pyaar Kiya had released; I went on a bike with my friend in a theatre to gauge the reaction of the audience. During the interval, people saw me and I had to run away from there. It is one of the happiest moments for me,” the Dabangg star reminisced.

“If the people you launch make it, it’s the best feeling in the world, but if they don’t, you shouldn’t stop working with them. New people will keep coming your way, but you should continue to work with those you’ve worked with in the past because you must have seen something in them then,” he says.

Salman also believes that fate is an important factor in determining success in the industry. “Everyone wants to be a star, but some people are destined to get there, and some aren’t. Sohail and Arbaaz did not make it big as actors, but now they have their own production company and they are doing well for themselves,” he says. In the end, he advised the newcomers to be wise enough while choosing projects at the beginning of their career.

“Don’t play games, just be enthusiastic about what you want to do, be patient and don’t jump into anything,” he says, adding that it is better to do no work than to do bad work. “If there is no work coming your way, that’s fine. But the work you do should be good. And good work does come along in different forms — it could be movies, parallel cinema, TV, or digital series.”
