‘It is your debt to this land’: Ch. Nisar exhorts FC recruits to help bring peace to Baluchistan

Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar said on Saturday while addressing the passing out Frontier Corps (FC) in LoraLai, Baluchistan, that “Some elements are bent on spreading chaos in the name of religion.” He told the new recruits they were responsible for bringing peace in the province. “You have to bring peace to Baluchistan. This is your national duty and your debt to this land.”

The minister further added that “There are also elements that do not want peace in Baluchistan or the country and exploit the youth to fulfill their designs.” It was also highlighted that the security forces are doing everything that they can to restore peace and stability in the region.

The FC is one of the most important branches of Pakistan Army and has played a vital role in the fight against the militants in Baluchistan.

“The role of Frontier Corps is immensely important in maintaining law and order in Balochistan. The security force is commendable for its comprehensive security plan.” – Nisar.

“Regardless of how clever or mischievous our enemies are, the personnel of FC are determined to root out chaos and unrest,” the minister remarked. He stated that the war against terror had decreased terrorist activities in Pakistan by a significant level and that the process of eradicating terrorism completely will be carried out to the best of the military’s ability.

“You all have to understand agendas of these militants,” he emphasized, “Some of them receive money from our enemy and kill innocent people while they themselves spend luxurious lives.”

He also outlined that the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) will bring a revolution of development in Pakistan. According to the minister, 70 billion rupees have been spent by the government on the security of Pakistan already and it is still willing to invest more.

The interior minister concluded that the people of Baluchistan are brothers and sisters of Pakistani forces and everything possible will be done to ensure their security.
