As for team India against the Srilankans, Skipper Mithali Raj’s 89-ball 85 helped register a thumping 109-run win at Queen’s Park, Chesterfield. team India got all their department clicking as they bundled Sri Lanka for 166 after a brilliant show with the bat by the top order.

With such versatile results in games which seemed more unpredictable than the Pakistani men’s team, the tournament which is set of to start tomorrow will be an exciting one, to say the least as the women of the cricketing world break stereotypes and prove it to everyone that women are, were and always will be equal to men on any field, even sports. This tournament represents women empowerment especially for places such as Pakistan where gender inequality is still dominant. This tournament will hopefully give a voice which has been neglected in this country for far too long now.
