Brooklyn Beckham Accuses Parents of Undermining Marriage to Nicola Peltz

Brooklyn Beckham has spoken out about his strained relationship with his parents, alleging that tensions escalated after Victoria Beckham withdrew from designing Nicola Peltz’s wedding dress at the last moment.

Brooklyn Beckham has publicly addressed long-running tensions within the Beckham family, alleging that issues surrounding his wedding to actress Nicola Peltz marked a turning point in his relationship with his parents, David and Victoria Beckham.

In a series of posts shared to his Instagram Stories on Monday, the eldest Beckham son claimed that his mother withdrew from designing Nicola’s wedding dress at the last moment, an incident he says deeply affected both him and his wife.

“My parents have been trying endlessly to ruin my relationship since before my wedding, and it hasn’t stopped,” Brooklyn wrote. He went on to allege that Victoria cancelled plans to create Nicola’s bridal gown at the “eleventh hour,” despite earlier enthusiasm. According to Brooklyn, the sudden change forced Nicola to urgently seek an alternative dress close to the wedding date.

Brooklyn and Nicola married in April 2022 in a lavish ceremony held at the Peltz family’s Palm Beach estate in Florida. For the occasion, Nicola wore a custom-made Valentino Haute Couture gown, which became a focal point of speculation about possible family discord.

Reports of strain between the Beckhams and Nicola have circulated since the wedding. In 2023, People magazine cited sources claiming that tensions between Brooklyn, Nicola, and the Beckham family began after Victoria ultimately did not design the wedding dress.

However, Nicola has previously denied suggestions of a feud with her mother-in-law. Speaking to Variety in November 2022, the Transformers actress explained that the situation was due to logistical issues rather than personal conflict.

“I was going to [wear Victoria Beckham] and I really wanted to,” Nicola said at the time. “And then a few months down the line, she realized that her atelier couldn’t do it, so then I had to pick another dress.”
