Pakistan’s rising athlete Arshad Nadeem, a javelin thrower, has been included in the 30 under 30 Forbes list for South Asia 2025. He won an Olympic gold medal in the javelin for Pakistan.
Forbes 30 Under 30 list recognizes the extraordinary individuals and achievers under the age of 30 in its annual list. The magazine has been publishing the list since 2011.
“Arshad Nadeem’s impressive javelin throws won Pakistan its first-ever Olympic gold for an individual sport in Paris 2024,” Forbes said in the report.
“Nadeem’s stunning show at the Paris Olympics, though, set a new Olympic record for his 92.97m javelin throw.”
Arshad Nadeem brought glory to Pakistan in August 2024 when he broke the record in the Paris Olympics in the javelin.

The 28-year-old’s javelin throw of 90-meter meters in the javelin in Olympics made won him the gold medal for Pakistan. It was also the first-ever gold medal Pakistan had bagged in a track and field competition.
The magazine noted that Arshad Nadeem also won gold medals in the Islamic Solidarity Games in Turkey and the Commonwealth Games in 2022 and secured a silver medal in men’s javelin throw at the 2023 World Athletics Championship.
In May, Nadeem claimed gold with an 86.4-meter throw in the men’s javelin final at the Asian Athletics Championships in Gumi, South Korea.
Arshad Nadeem hails from a small town of Mian Chunnu in Punjab, Pakistan. He has been hailed as a national hero since he won the Olympic gold medal for Pakistan in the javelin.
Arshad Nadeem is preparing World Championship these days. He is the first Pakistani in 50 years to win a gold medal for Pakistan in the Asian Athletics Championship. Arshad Nadeem is expected to bring another gold medal for Pakistan.
