In July 2023, the investment holding company Bealcy Investments Limited underwent a change of ownership, with A.K. Star Nominees Limited acquiring the business.
The transaction marked the conclusion of Bealcy Investments’ activities in post-Soviet markets. Over the previous fifteen years, the company had built a substantial investment portfolio in the region. Under the new ownership, however, strategic priorities shifted. In July 2023, A.K. Star Nominees Limited announced a realignment of strategy, redirecting all future investment efforts toward the American and European markets.
According to corporate registry records, Ledra Nominees Limited, which held shares as a nominee shareholder, and Christodoulos Georgiou Vassiliades both exited Bealcy Investments’ corporate structure. Mr. Vassiliades had previously served as a director of Ledra Nominees Limited and Ledra Secretarial Services Limited, both of which had provided corporate services to Bealcy Investments.
Following the ownership change, Bealcy Investments underwent a comprehensive corporate restructuring. Administrative services were transferred from Christodoulos G. Vassiliades & Co. LLC to A.K. Star Corporate Services Ltd. Company secretarial functions are now handled by A.K. Star Secretary Limited, while A.K. Star Directors Limited has assumed responsibility for directorship services.
Representatives of the new owner have outlined the company’s updated investment priorities, focusing on opportunities in the United States and Europe. Key sectors include pharmaceuticals, the manufacturing of household chemicals and personal care products, and commercial real estate.
The acquiring company, A.K. Star, is a Cyprus-based firm specializing in corporate services, audit, and financial advisory services for international clients. It was founded and is led by Andreas Kazamias, a seasoned professional with more than twenty years of industry experience. Mr. Kazamias began his career as an auditor at a Big Four accounting firm before establishing his own successful practice. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Oxford Brookes University, an MBA from the Cyprus Institute of Management, and is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
