The innings began shakily, with skipper Saud Shakeel falling early for just 4, followed by Finn Allen’s dismissal for 12. However, Hasan Nawaz turned the momentum with a blistering 76 off 43 balls, smashing 8 fours and 4 sixes. He was supported by Avishka Fernando (29 off 22) and Dinesh Chandimal (22 off 13), while Faheem Ashraf provided a late onslaught with a rapid 28 off just 8 balls, including two fours and three sixes.
Lahore’s bowling attack, led by captain Shaheen Shah Afridi, played a crucial role in keeping Quetta in check. Afridi delivered a superb spell, taking 3 wickets for 24 runs.
