French Montana is making his relationship official in a big way.

According to the rep, French, 40, proposed to Sheikha Mahra, 31, during Paris Fashion Week in June, just after making his runway debut at the 3.Paradis Ready-to-Wear Spring/Summer 2026 show.
The couple first sparked romance rumors in October 2024, when Sheikha Mahra—the daughter of Dubai ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum—shared photos of herself giving the rapper a tour of Dubai. However, they kept things private until this summer, when they went public by holding hands at several Paris Fashion Week events.
Sheikha Mahra was previously married to Sheikh Mana bin Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mana Al Maktoum. In July 2024, she confirmed their split with a strongly worded Instagram post, declaring, “Dear Husband, as you are occupied with other companions, I hereby declare our divorce. I divorce you, I divorce you, I Divorce You.” She ended the note with, “Take care. Your ex-wife.”

Her post drew comparisons to the Islamic practice of “triple talaq”—where Muslim men can divorce by saying the phrase three times—though women are not legally allowed to use this method. A month later, she hinted at moving on by posting a selfie with her daughter, captioned, “Just the two of us.”
As for French Montana, who has previously dated Khloé Kardashian, Iggy Azalea, and Rubi Rose, he has yet to publicly comment on the engagement. But in a 2016 Elle interview, he reflected on dating someone in transition, saying, “It’s emotional, it’s a sensitive space for them. But sometimes you have to sacrifice for what you want.”
