Former Prime Minister Imran Khan, speaking through his sister Aleema Khan outside Adiala Jail, has called for nationwide protests on September 27, 2025, declaring it a defining moment in Pakistan’s political resistance as he remains defiant despite imprisonment and ongoing cases.

Former Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan has called for a nationwide protest on September 27, 2025. Imran Khan’s sister, Aleema Khan, relayed his message in a media talk outside Adiala Jail. She was present at the court in the hearing of the Tosha Khana 2.0 case on Wednesday.

The PTI founder’s sister, Aleema Khan, conveyed his message. She quoted Imran as saying, Imran Khan, according to her, has called upon the entire nation to take to the streets on September 27.“Those who think I will break are delusional. I will not accept slavery, no matter what is done to me,” said Aleema Khan while quoting Imran Khan.

He has urged his party followers and supporters to organize widespread protests in what he said will be a defining moment in Pakistan’s political resistance.   “If you don’t act now, you’ll be digging your own political graves,” she quoted the PTI founder.

Aleema further said that Imran remains defiant and critical of the current political order and quoted the PTI founder as saying that an attempt was made to crush PTI by bringing the 26th Amendment to control the judiciary, muzzling the media, and troubling democracy. She said that Imran Khan has warned about the drastic drop in foreign investment, and the debt has nearly doubled. Imran believes the country is headed down a perilous path similar to Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Nepal. She also added that Imran Khan has instructed PTI leadership to play the role of a real opposition, warning of political irrelevance.
