Influential media mogul Salman Farooqi arrested after beating the biker

VIP culture exposed in Karachi: Viral video of Salman Farooqi’s brutal assault on young biker sparks outrage across social media.

An influential businessman named Salman Farooqi has been arrested in Karachi after his video of assaulting a biker went viral on social media.

The influential businessman assaulted the biker in front of his sister. The businessman continued to assault and hit the biker despite the pleas from the biker’s sister to stop. The woman pleaded with Farooqui to stop hitting her brother, but to no avail. The incident happened after the biker is alleged to have hit Salman Farooqi’s car.

The merciless beating of the biker at the hands of Farooqi enraged the social media users, who demanded that the authorities arrest the influential businessman immediately. Not only the businessman but also his guards beat the biker. The affected siblings belong to the Ranchhore Lines in Karachi. Gizri Police arrested the businessman after a complaint was registered against him.

The enraged social media named and shamed him on social media by sharing his details. The incident unfolded after the boy’s bike put a scratch on the luxury car of the media mogul following a collision on Saturday night.

 The boy has been identified as Dhan Raj, and his sister Kalpana, who works in a nearby place to the place of the incident in DHA. In viral footage, Salman Farooqi, owner of Bionic Films, is seen holding the hands of a young man named Dhun Raj while his bodyguards, inside the vehicle, violently slap him.

DIG South confirmed that Farooqi was arrested in connection with the public assault near Ittehad Commercial in DHA Phase VI. An FIR was registered at the Gizri police station under case number 25/278, based on the complaint of eyewitness Muhammad Saleem.

 The complaint accuses Salman Farooqi and his guards of disrespecting and threatening them and beating them.  The incident has sparked debate around the rising trend of VIP culture in the largest city of Pakistan, Karachi.  Salman Farooqi is the owner of the Bionic Films.
