PAF Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu directly ordered the Pakistani pilots to shoot down the Indian jets trying to enter Pakistan.
According to the latest reports, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Sidhu directly spoke to the pilots via radio and commanded them, “Kill them, kill them, don’t let them enter even an inch into Pakistan.”
He spoke directly to the pilots of Squadron 15, which he led once. The sources claim the Air Chief had personally taken command of the situation while the team operated from the PAF’s most classified nerve center and slept little for four consecutive days.
Air Chief Marshal Sidhu called a meeting of the top officials of the Pakistan Air Force after receiving the intelligence of the possible aerial strike by India on May 6th.
On the night of May 6- 7th, 80 Indian fighter jets-including 32 Rafales, 30 Su-30s, equipped with BrahMos missiles, and a mix of MiG variants – took off from at least 12 airfields near the Pakistan border, says sources from Pakistan’s defence. In return, Pakistan sent 40 J10 and other fighter jets.
PAF worked in close collaboration with Military Intelligence. Hence, Pakistani jets were already in the air to fight the Indian Air Force. In the aerial combat, Pakistan successfully downed five Indian jets, 3 Rafales, 1 MiG-29, and one SU-30.

During this offensive, Pakistan used J-10C equipped with PL-15 missiles. The range of these missiles is between 238 miles to 280 miles. The longest shot taken by Pakistan’s jets was 98 nautical miles, which means India’s jets were targeted from a distance of 190km.
According to the sources, two Indian pilots were dead and three others were critically injured. Details of these pilots, including casualties and injuries of Indian pilots, are available to Pakistan’s intelligence.
There were 125 jet planes airborne, and none of the Pakistani or Indian fighter jets crossed each other’s airspace.
