Streep, making her first big-screen appearance since 2021’s Don’t Look Up, effortlessly steps back into the role of fashion’s most formidable editor, while Hathaway returns as a more self-assured Andy, once again orbiting Priestly’s world.
Joining them are returning stars Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci, with Kenneth Branagh cast as Priestly’s new husband. The sequel also adds Simone Ashley, Rachel Bloom, and Lucy Liu to the ensemble, along with reported cameos from Lady Gaga and Sydney Sweeney.
Directed once again by David Frankel, The Devil Wears Prada 2 unfolds in a drastically changed fashion world — where print is fading, digital dominates, and Priestly finds herself struggling to stay on top.
