Pakistan downed 25 Israeli-made Harop drones on Thursday, informs the Director General Inter-Services Public Relations, ISPR, Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry.

The military media wing said that drones were shot down using both electronic countermeasures (soft-kill techniques) and conventional weaponry (hard-kill systems) after they were detected over multiple areas across Pakistan.

“The Pakistan Armed Forces are responding decisively to all hostile actions and continue to thwart enemy intentions,” the statement read.

He informed that a 13th drone partially struck a military target near Lahore. “Four Pakistan Army personnel were injured in a drone attack in Lahore, while one civilian was martyred in Miano, Sindh,” the spokesperson said.

Lt Gen Chaudhry denounced the incursions as violations of international norms and threats to regional peace. “India is persistently sending drones into Pakistani territory, all of which have been intercepted. These attacks, along with the earlier airstrikes on May 6 and 7, which killed and injured innocent civilians, including children, show a dangerous pattern of escalation,” he said.

He emphasized that Pakistan’s armed forces remain on high alert and are fully prepared to respond to any aggression. He called on the international community to hold India accountable for these provocative actions, warning that they pose a serious risk to South Asian stability. “Pakistan has shown restraint, but we are fully capable of defending our sovereignty,” he asserted.

He emphasised that the international community to take notice of the continued aggression from India.
