Referring to Umer as the family’s “little shining star,” Ahmad asked fans to keep his brother and family in their prayers.
Umer rose to fame alongside Ahmad through appearances on the popular game show Jeeto Pakistan and ARY Digital’s Ramazan transmission Shan-e-Ramazan. The duo, often seen in costume, quickly won the hearts of viewers with their charm and energy.

Condolences have poured in from fans and industry colleagues. Jeeto Pakistan host Fahad Mustafa said he was “speechless” at the loss of “our Umer,” while ARY Digital CEO Jerjees Seja expressed he was “still in shock.” Ramazan transmission host Waseem Badami also shared his grief, posting a picture of Umer from one of his shows and revealing that doctors reported the young star had suffered a cardiac arrest in the early hours of Monday morning.
Hailing from Dera Ismail Khan, Ahmad’s last Instagram post showed him and Umer in school uniforms, heading to class. The programs they once lit up together will never be the same without Umer’s infectious smile and joyful spirit.
