Speaking at a Defence Ministry press conference on May 11, he said, “The question we must ask ourselves — and you must ask too — is whether we achieved our objective of decimating their terrorist camps. The answer is a resounding yes. The results speak for themselves.”

Regarding the platforms lost, he added, “We are still in a combat situation. Any comment would only benefit the adversary. What I can confirm is that our chosen targets were hit successfully and all our pilots have returned home.”
