Yalda Hakim, the leading news presenter from Sky News, denies interviewing Aleema Khan, the sister of the former Prime Minister of Pakistan, on the recent India-Pakistan war.
She says the clip of the interview circulating on social media is false and is a deep fake. A fake clip from the interview circulating on social media falsely claims that they discussed the Pakistan-India war that happened earlier this year, and clarified that it is completely fake.
The entire video was flagged as a deepfake by the channel itself. “This is terrifying — a deepfake of my interview with Imran Khan’s sister, Aleema Khan, is circulating. It falsely claims we discussed the Pakistan-India war earlier this year. We did NOT. This clip is completely fake,” noted journalist Yalda Hakim wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
Aleema Khan can be heard saying in a deep fake clip that the Nation’s Army Chief Asim Munir longs for a war with India and that his brother Imran Khan wants to maintain and improve relations with India and even the BJP.

The remarks by Aleema Khan, one of the three sisters of Imran Khan, were reportedly made in a show, The World with Yalda Hakeem on Sky News, but the presenter herself has called the clip a deep fake that went viral on Wednesday.
In the deep fake video, Aleema is seen going all out against Asim Munir, the Chief of Defence Forces. The news presenter is also seen asking Aleema Khan if her brother Imran Khan will ever be released, considering the multiple cases against him, to which Aleema said that Pakistan authorities were isolating Khan as an attempt to suppress the people of Pakistan.
“Asim Munir is a very radicalised Islamist and Islamic conservative. This is the reason why he yearns for a war with India. His Islamic radicalisation and conservatism force him to fight against those who don’t believe in Islam,” said Aleema.

She allegedly calls Imran Khan a ‘pure liberal’. Aleema said, “Whenever Imran Khan comes to power, you will see that he always tries to befriend India, and even the BJP. Whenever there is this radical Islamist, Asim Munir, you will see that there will be war with India, and not just India, even the allies of India will suffer.”

It is noteworthy to mention that there have already been death rumours of the incarcerated former Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan stirred an upheaval among the PTI supporters on the ground and on social media.
Following the chaos, on Tuesday, Uzma Khan, another sister of Imran Khan, was allowed to meet him in jail. Following the meeting, Uzma Khan informed the media, party supporters, and workers that he was perfectly fine. She was accompanied by a group of PTI supporters who gathered outside Adiala jail while she went inside to see the former Prime Minister. Speaking to the media after the meeting,
PTI Chief Imran Khan has been in jail since 2023 after he was convicted in several cases. He has since been held in a Diyala jail in Rawalpindi. In the latest development, the government has imposed a complete ban on anyone meeting Imran Khan in jail.
