In a rather scandalous video, the infamous Mufti Abdul Qavi has been spotted showering currency notes on a female singer in a function. The video of Mufti Qavi went viral on media in which the cleric was seen enjoying the female singer’s performance on Bollywood’s popular song ‘Dil Diyaan Gallan’ in a Mehndi ceremony.

Mufti was also seen dancing to the tunes with his friends in the musical night after Mehndi function. Later talking to media, Mufti Qavi stated that showering currency money on a singer was a way to ‘show happiness’ saying that the woman in question was ‘wearing proper clothes.’ As per the sources, the video was shot at the recent ‘Mehndi’ event of PTI South Punjab chapter Vice President Khalid Javed’s son.
The social media went into a frenzy as the video emerged on social media. The video was shared thousand times with different comments from people. Mufti Qavi said Islam is a not a rigid religion and that allows the celebrations according to the local culture and traditions. Such events were a part of the culture of sub-continent and did not put Islam in danger.

Mufti Qavi also appeared in a controversial Tik Tok video with a transgender Shanaya Gul. He was seen playing a security guard in the video. The video was shot in the shopping mall in which the model was seen touching the cleric’s shoulder with her chin.

Mufti Qavi rose to popularity after he appeared in a controversial video with slain social media celebrity Qandeel Baloch just a few days before she was murdered. Being a prime suspect in the case he was interrogated by the Police but was later released. For his alleged involvement with the model Qandeel Baloch, his membership from Ruet-i-Hilal committee was suspended.
