In an Instagram story, Adnan clarified that his statement was made in jest rather than with any intention to cause harm.

Actor Adnan Siddiqui has issued an apology regarding his recent remarks drawing an analogy between women and flies. In an Instagram story, he clarified that his statement was made in jest rather than with any intention to cause harm.

“I would like to address the recent comments I made, intended to be humorous rather than offensive. Analogies such as ‘slippery as a snake’ are commonly used in language. However, I recognize how my words might have been misunderstood and apologize for any unintended offense caused.

Going forward, I will strive to communicate with greater clarity and sensitivity,” he wrote. It’s worth noting that the actor made these remarks during a private TV show, where he likened pursuing women to chasing flies – the more you pursue, the more they evade, and if you pause, they land like a fly. He shared an example of this by recounting how a fly evaded him while he chased it, but settled on his nose once he stopped.
