He also criticized Pakistan Tehreek-I-Insaf and said that their actions were against Pakistan.

Federal Information Minister Atta Tarar supported the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), criticised PTI and stressed its importance for the country in a presser on Friday.

He said that SIFC is important for Pakistan and is the lifeline and redline for the country’s economy. “Surely, the economy is our lifeline and redline, linked with the jobs of millions of people,” Tarar said during a news conference in Islamabad, accompanied by Federal Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal. He said that SIFC is essential for the future development and investment in the country.

“These are our redlines which some disgruntled elements are trying to violate and trespass, and they are surely doomed to fail.”

“Don’t be mistaken, foreign investment will definitely come to the country, and we will take all steps to ensure the welfare of the people.”

Atta Tarar said that few individuals had tried to make Pakistan’s GSP Plus status controversial, and are now attacking SIFC, armed forces, and the government.

“They intentionally targeted the SIFC on social media on the day the UAE pledged a $10 billion investment in Pakistan,” Tarar said.

“It is okay if they just target me or criticize my political party, but they are hell-bent on sabotaging the economy, and the nation is witnessing and is fully vigilant to their misadventures.”

He added that, “These are our redlines which some disgruntled elements are trying to violate and trespass, and they are surely doomed to fail.”

The Federal Minister also criticized Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur for presenting the budget before the federal government. How can they estimate the federal budget and declare 14 percent receivables by themselves?” he questioned. Tarar lamented that there is no rule and law in the country.
