Gill blasts virus policy ‘hypocrisy’ at Bakhtawar wedding, PDM rallies

Shahbaz Gill has called out the hypocrisy in calling for a coronavirus test at Bakhtawar Zardari's wedding but not for public meetings held by PDM

Shahbaz Gill, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM), has expressed his concern on the disparity that is being shown between the ‘common’ person and people invited to Bakhtawar Zardari’s wedding ceremony.

In a tweet shared today, he said that former President Asif Ali Zardari has made corona test mandatory for attending his daughter Bakhtawar engagement ceremony and has said that come to Bilawal house after having undergone corona test otherwise, don’t come. But on the other hand, you invite the common man to public meetings, and why don’t you care for their lives. He further described this as ‘tyrannical.’

Same fashion designer to dress Bakhtawar as Benazir for the wedding

Bakhtawar Bhutto, daughter of former President Asif Ali Zardari, has decided to recreate her mother’s Benazir Bhutto’s Nikkah look at her wedding.

Bhutto has chosen the same fashion designer, Resham Revaj, that Benazir had chosen for her Nikkah with Zardari. Benazir had worn a green dress traditional dress for her Nikkah ceremony. The brand has confirmed the news that Bakhtawar has hired their services. According to the Instagram post, Bakhtawar will recreate Benazir’s Nikkah look on her Dholki.

The Instagram post of the fashion brand said, “The radiant Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto wore a hand-worked embellished Resham Revaj creation on her nikkah in 1987.”

“Congratulations to Bakhtawar Bhutto-Zardari on her engagement, feeling honored that she wants to recreate Muhtarma Benazir Bhutto’s nikkah ‘jorah’ designed by #ReshamRevaj. Sharing the picture of the original outfit,” wrote the brand in another Instagram post.

Benazir Bhutto looked like a quintessential princess as she picked up elegant dresses for her wedding functions. Bhutto, 34, had tied the knot with Zardari, 34, in an arranged marriage. A large wedding reception was held in Kikri Ground, Lyari that was attended by family members of Zardari, Bhutto clan, and party followers.
