Changan UNI-T, a modern fully-loaded Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV), is expected to be cheaper than KIA Sportage. This makes it an attractive deal as compared to its competitor, KIA Sportage, in price-conscious Pakistani market.
On the other hand, Sportage has established its name in Pakistan. It has become a reliable family car. Its producer KIA has become the third largest car producer in the country replacing the Honda.
Features of Changan SUV
Changan UNI-T is a 1500 CC patrol engine which produces 180 horsepower and 300 Nm torque. According to the Changan, its mileage is about 10-12 liters per kilometer.
On 16th April, Changan teased the upcoming SUV and it is expected to be launched in June 2021, according to Pakwheels.

This 5 door SUV is equipped with drive support systems like parking radar, cameras, tire-monitoring, Automatic parking system, blind spot assist, brake assist, anti-lock braking system (ABS), electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD) and traction Control among others.
It comes with skyroof which is non-openable panoramic. The UNI-T has a beautiful computerized digital dashboard that can be used with voice command.

Features of KIA Sportage
Kia Sportage is a highly ranked compact SUV with lots of standard safety and technology features, premium interiors, and two engine choices.
Like UNI-T, Sportage also comes with hill start assist control (HAC), downhill brake control (DBC), parking assist system (PAS) and cruise control. It is also equipped with vehicle stability management system.
Sportage is priced in Pakistan at Rs. 4.5 million and upwards depending on the model.

Will Changan UNI-T beat KIA Sportage?
Chinese automakers have started producing high-end vehicles; however, whether Changan UNI-T SUV will beat KIA Sportage depends on the price tag of the upcoming car in Pakistan. If Changan UNI-T SUV price remains under Rs. 4 million, it can not only beat Sportage but also Toyota Grande, Honda Civic and MG HS
