The Israeli prime minister has slammed the French president for accusing him of bombing civilians in Gaza, insisting he is doing ‘everything to minimize harm’
The Arab leaders will stress the “Arab stance calling for an immediate ceasefire, delivering humanitarian aid and ways of ending the dangerous deterioration that threatens the security of the region”, the ministry said in a statement.
"The bombings on Gaza must stop immediately ... the path of oil and food exports to the Zionist regime should be stopped," Khamenei said in a speech, according to Iranian state media.
The conflict has raged since Palestinian militant group Hamas launched shock raids into Israel on October 7, killing 1,400 people -- most of them civilians -- and taking around 200 hostages.
