During his historic Islamabad rally, PM Imran Khan made claims that the USA is deliberately trying to de-seat him. He claimed that he has evidence as well. His opponents had dismissed his claims and called it his propaganda to save his government.

A sector-wise distribution showed that the share of agriculture sector in total employment fell down from 38.5 percent to 37.4 percent followed by the services sector which also recorded a decrease of 0.8 percent in the share of total employment in the three years of the PTI government. On the contrary, the share of the industrial sector in total employment grew by 1.7 percent, from 23.7 percent to 25.4 percent.

PM Imran Khan was expected to address the nation on Wednesday which was delayed due to unknown reasons. He, however, will address the nation today. This would be his second direct official engagement with the people of Pakistan since the historic rally last week.

MQM-P, a key ally of the PTI-led coalition government, formally announced that it was joining the Opposition ahead of the no-confidence motion against PM Khan. Needless to say, the public has not taken kindly to MQM-P's decision.
