Khan said that he will aim to fight for free speech if he becomes the chancellor of Oxford University. He added that if elected, he would be the first chancellor of the university from outside the UK.
Special prayers were offered after Fajr, asking for the unity of the Muslim world and for the nation's prosperity and progress. In observance of the holy day, a public holiday has been declared.
"These new amendments will ruin the country's future," Khan warned. He further accused the government of trying to dismantle the judiciary, stating, "They have decided to destroy the judiciary."
The launch took place during CM's visit to Lahore's Children's Hospital Cardiac Surgery Ward, where she distributed "Child Surgery Cards" to deserving patients.
