Cristiano Ronaldo, one of the best soccer players in the world, is set to narrate his love story with girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez in the upcoming Netflix documentary.
In the documentary titled ‘I am Georgina’, the footballer will share how his love story evolved with the former shop worker “in a split second”.
“It was a split-second moment. I never thought it would be that big as to fall in love with her, I didn’t expect it,” he says in the new production.

“Georgina is the woman I am totally in love with.”

Georgina also admitted that how her life changed after meeting Cristiano Ronaldo. “I am 27 and five years ago my life has changed,” she said.
“The day I met Cristiano was a Thursday in the summer, as I was leaving the shop when a handsome man almost two meters tall [entered].”
According to the director of the documentary, a chance meeting between the two changed their lives forever. “Georgina is totally honest and recognizes in the documentary that her life changed from having nothing to absolutely everything,” he told local media.
From selling luxury to living in luxury
“I Am Georgina has a strong aspirational component. Georgina went from selling luxury to being gifted it and showing it off on the red carpet.
“She was a normal young woman whose life changed dramatically one day. She was leaving work one day and crossed paths with the love of her life. Who has not dreamed of that?
The documentary also explored her relationship with the children of Ronaldo. “It conditions all her life but the focus is on her and knowing her also through her own eyes,” the director added further.
Back in June, Cristiano Ronaldo had become the first person ever to reach 300 million followers on Instagram. The 36-year-old football star is the most followed celebrity on earth on Instagram following Dwayne Johnson who has 246 million on Instagram.
Meanwhile, Lionel Messi has 219 million followers on his Instagram. Ariana Grande has 244 million followers and Kylie Jenner has 241 million followers.
Cristiano Ronaldo is yet to post about his latest social media feat similar to how he celebrated 200 million followers in January 2020. Meanwhile, fans are rejoicing as Ronaldo crosses 300 million followers on Instagram.
