“Truth hurts sometimes, it makes your eyes water. Hugh Jackman’s a fraud!”
Reynold’s comments came in response to the Jackman’s funny take at Reynold’s new movie, ‘Free Guy’. Jackman photoshopped himself into one of the movie’s posters. He posted the morphed image of the movie’s poster on his Instagram account.
“A small edit to make this a much better promotional tool,” Jackman wrote in the captions of the Instagram post.
Jackman also reacted to Reynold’s dig on Instagram. In the Instagram post, Jackman depicted himself as the Wolverine with Ryan Reynold’s Deadpool as his claw.
On his Twitter account, Hugh Jackman posted a picture, apparently his response to Reynold’s comments of ‘fraud’. In the image, Hugh Jackman can be seen giving the impression that he is raising his middle finger to Reynold. The image read: ‘Who you calling fraud?’
Ryan Reynold and Hugh Jackman had been sparring each other for a quite few years, they, however, announced that their friendly feud is coming to an end this year.
Both the actors have decided to make an advertisement for each other’s company to mend their friendship. Reynolds is the owner of Aviation Gin, while Jackman owns Laughing Man Coffee.
Reynold shared the black and white image of him shaking hands with Hugh Jackman. Adding that “As a gesture of goodwill, I’m gonna make a beautiful ad for his company, Laughing Man Coffee. Can’t wait!”
On the work front, while the future of Deadpool remains uncertain the character of Wolverine will be recast following Hugh Jackman’s final appearance as the X-Men hero in Logan.
