With the increasing car prices there were reports that Changan Motors had suspended bookings for Alsvin due to its high demand. However, the company later confirmed to an auto expert that it had only suspended booking for a temporary period. It later resumed bookings for Alsvin after receiving a consignment of CKD units from China.
Moreover, the recent price hike in the vehicles has also affected the model as the new prices include; Alsvin 1.3L Manual Comfort for Rs. 2,769,000, Alsvin 1.5L DCT Comfort for Rs. 3,024,000, and the new price of Alsvin 1.5L DCT Lumiere is Rs. 3,219,000.
Additionally, the bookings are open for all three variants currently. The booking price of the Changan Alsvin 1.3L Manual variant is Rs. 5.5 lac and Rs. 6.5 lac is for the upper 1.5L DCT variants. Furthermore, the base variants will be delivered within a time span of 3-3.5 months whereas, the upper variant would be delivered in 2-2.5 months.
