Kashif has tied the knot after Helena embraced Islam. She has changed her name to Maria Helena Abrams. The two met on Instagram and fell in love. While Kashif is a student of B.com from Raipur village, Maria Helena is a Reiki master, dog trainer, and driver from California.

The Nikka was a close ceremony organized at a local hotel attended by close friends and family members of Kashif. Talking to Press Kashif informed that he and Helena came across on Instagram. “I don’t know whether we’ll live in Pakistan or America and it doesn’t matter as long as we’re together.”

The Twitter was soon stormed with mixed reactions from the people. Some chose to felicitate the couple on their marriage while others trolled the couple on social media. The troll, however, commented that boy looked sad in the picture as he did not expect Helena would actually come to marry him.

The marriage of Kashif and Helena dimmed the glitzy wedding of Bollywood couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh in Pakistan since people were more amazed at the love story of a Sialkot-based youngster, Kashif.

People hope the love between the couple is genuine and Kashif will fulfil his responsibilities in this union. The two have been in contact for 10 months after which Helena travelled from the US to Pakistan to marry Kashif.

A commentator even appreciated Kashif for convincing Helena to embrace Islam. According to him, Kashif showed her the videos of renowned scholar Zakir Naik.
