Fawad Ch calls out Marriyum Aurangzeb for ’10 slaps’ remark against Imran Khan

PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry gave a stern response to the scathing remarks of Information Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb against Imran Khan.

In a press conference, Aurangzeb said that 10 slaps should be given to Former Prime Minister Imran Khan while commenting on the 10-point economic reforms presented by him during the massive public rally at Minar-e-Pakistan in Lahore on Saturday.

Reacting to her statements, Fawad Chaudhry slammed Marriyum Aurangzeb for using street language. The minister herself is receiving flak for passing distasteful remarks against PTI leader and Former Prime Minister Imran Khan. Taking to Twitter, Chaudhry said: “Noon-League people are so stupid and frivolous that they answer such large gatherings of Tehreek-e-Insaf from a woman who can never contest councilor elections. Banning TV does not create a narrative.” The minister added that a public narrative cannot be created by using below-the-belt and street language instead it needs effort and teamwork. Also, one cannot peddle a narrative by merely banning the broadcast of political gatherings.

Fawad Chaudhry once again took a dig at Marriyum Aurangzeb and said that her statements reflected her upbringing.

Some sections also condemned Fawad Chaudhry for the use of language against Marriyum Aurangzeb. They urged the former minister to take his words back. Chaudhry has not deleted his tweet so far.

Earlier today, a Whatsapp screenshot of Marriyum Aurangzeb allegedly asked journalists to condemn the tweet of Fawad Chaudhry.

The screenshot is making rounds on Twitter since morning. The authenticity of the screenshot is yet to be confirmed. However, Fawad Chaudhry also commented on the WhatsApp image. Chaudhry commented on how the orders are being allegedly passed on Whatsapp by the state minister.

PTI leader Shireen Mazari also condemned the statements of Marriyum Aurangzeb against Imran Khan. She called out Asma Shirazi when she condemned Fawad Chaudhry. “Yes, @asmashirazi, if a woman is going to use bazaari language against someone then she must expect responses in similar language. You cannot play the woman card if you are going to hurl filth at political opponents or anyone. Enough is enough,” said Asma Shirazi.
