Female Celebs assemble in support of Hania Amir

News Desk |

Hania Amir is garnering the support of her female counterparts from the entertainment industry as she opened up about her struggle with acne problems and the anxiety she undergoes like every common girl due to skin problems.

In an Instagram post, a few days back, she shared the picture of her face brimming with acne. She had questioned the strict beauty standards set by society and the pressure it has upon people to meet it in order to feed one’s self-esteem.

Sharing photos of her acne, she asked, “Why is my skin defining me? Who has made these beauty standards that we always feel the need to match? […] I know that the idea of being “perfect” is appealing to the majority but you don’t need to be an airbrushed flawless image to feel beautiful.”

Mehwish took to Instagram to shed light on her own skin problems.

“Flawsome is awesome. Away from the studio lights, the cameras, and the glamorous makeup, we all battle with the same skin problems and insecurities as any other girl. Let’s embrace it – its called being a woman,” she captioned the picture.
