Feroze Khan has officially announced to quit the entertainment and showbiz industry on religious grounds and says he would only act and provide his services for the teaching of Islam.
He announced his decision in a tweet yesterday and requested his followers to pray for him and his family. With this announcement, he has put an end to the rumours surrounding his future in the showbiz industry.
“My fans have been waiting for a statement from me. I announce that I quit the showbiz industry and will only act and provide my services for the teaching of Islam through this platform if needed else anything but this InshAllah, request you all to pray for me and my loved ones,” tweeted Feroze Khan.
Earlier, the actor had deactivated his Twitter account while his wife informed that he has embarked on a spiritual journey and is temporarily disconnecting from the world.
Feroze Khan, however, is the second actor to quit showbiz after Hamza Ali Abbasi on religious grounds.
Pakistan’s versatile celebrity, Hamza Ali Abbasi has announced to quit acting for a long time if not forever. Abbasi in his long video message, posted on his YouTube channel and Twitter account, asserted that he will focus on spreading the message of God and Islam.
Hamza Ali Abbasi briefly discussed the journey of his spiritual awakening, which redirected his attention towards complex and solemn subjects like life after death.
He added that his mind was entangled with multiple questions like who created the world and what lies after death. He asserted that his relentless quest for answers and the study of science unravelled his confusion on the existence of God and brought him closer to Islam.
Meanwhile, Feroze Khan is currently appearing in drama serial Ishqiya and has an upcoming movie, Tich Button.
