FM Bilawal Bhutto garners mockery on joining TikTok

The Foreign Minister of Pakistan Bilawal Bhutto garners mockery on social media after he invited people to join him on TikTok.

Bilawal Bhutto shared his TikTok handle on his Twitter account. He asked people to join him on TikTok. Twitter users lost their cool and criticized him. Many social media users believe that while Pakistan is going through multiple crises, it is non-serious on the part of the foreign minister to promote his new social media account. Social media users are not happy with his tweet promoting his TikTik account.

People believe that being a foreign minister, he should focus on serious matters surrounding Pakistan. Some criticized him on his performance that while he did not achieve anything worthwhile being a foreign minister of Pakistan, making up a TikTok account and increasing followers might be his great achievement.

Netizens say they expect some substantial achievements for Pakistan. They asked if he would be putting up his dancing videos on TikTok.

“Can you please focus on your foreign affairs department, particularly your consulates in different countries? We don’t need another social media star,” said one user.

A few days back, Bilawal Bhutto made headlines for his aggressive remarks targeting Indian Prime Minister Narendra Singh in New York.

According to the details, India’s Minister of Foreign Affairs S. Jaishankar accused Pakistan of perpetuating terrorism and sheltering Osama bin Laden at the UN Security Council and repeated the allegations while addressing the media at a UN stakeout site.

“The question of justifying what the world regards as unacceptable should not even arise. That certainly applies to state sponsorship of cross-border terrorism. Nor can hosting Osama bin Laden and attacking a neighboring Parliament serves as credentials to sermonize before this Council,” S. Jaishankar said.

Responding to the allegations, Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari told India that Osama Bin Laden has died but the butcher of Gujarat — Narendra Modi — is still alive and has become the prime minister of India.

“I would like to remind Mr. Jaishankar that Osama bin Laden is dead, but the butcher of Gujarat lives, and he is the prime minister (of India),” said Bilawal Bhutto.

“He (Narendra Modi) was banned from entering this country (the United States). These are the prime minister and foreign minister of RSS, which draws inspiration from Hitler’s SS,” he added.

The video clip of Bilawal Bhutto circulated social media and the foreign minister is garnering praise for his strong words.
