Turkish actor Cengiz Coskun, Dirilis Ertugrul famed Turgut Alp, appeared for an interview with ARY TV on Monday night.
Cengiz Coskun had a candid interview with Waseem Badami. The host asked him several questions related to his personal life and working in serial Dirilis Ertugrul. The interview began with Waseem Badami and Cengiz Coskun exchanging Eid greetings.
Cengiz Coskun (Turgut Alp): not married but committed
When asked about his personal life, if he is married, Cengiz said he is not married yet but he is committed. Cengiz Coskun aka Turgut Alp said he was born in Istanbul. Badami asked him for his comments on the overwhelming success of the serial in Pakistan and PM Khan recommending to broadcast the serial in Urdu dubbing in Pakistan. He thanked Prime Minister Imran Khan for recommending the show. He also thanked Pakistani fans for praising their performances.

Cengiz Coskun said that when the team started working on the project many people discouraged them that they won’t be able to complete the project. However, not only they completed five seasons of the serial but it also turned out to be a hit in Turkey. Coskun said that they had anticipated the serial to become popular in Muslim countries. But they had not anticipated it to be all the rage in Pakistan.

He expressed these views in response to question about the unprecedented popularity of Dirilis Ertugrul in Pakistan. Badami informed them that the characters of the serial have become the household names in Pakistan.
The actor said he got to know about his popularity in Pakistan through social media. He said he has received marriage proposals from the on Instagram.
Waseem Badami asked Cengiz Coskun if he has any friends in Pakistan. He said he has two friends in Pakistan, Waseem Badami and Lala ( Shahid Afridi) in Pakistan. His heartfelt comments left both the Pakistani hosts smiling.

Host Waseem Badami asked him if he would work in Pakistani projects if had an opportunity. He said he will happily work in any Pakistani project if given any opportunity.
