 News Desk|

Actor Hamza Ali Abbasi in his latest tweet has requested Imran Khan to build Kalabagh and other small dams to save Pakistan from water scarcity if Imran Khan becomes the prime minister of Pakistan after winning General elections 2018.

Pakistan is facing acute water shortage and is expected to run out of its water resources by 2025. Out of all the provinces in Pakistan, Punjab and Sindh with a large population immediately require sufficient water resources.

The construction of Kalabagh dam has been a contentious issue for decades as Sindh and KPK have resisted its construction.

Hamza Ali Abbasi is already caught up in controversies these days after he has been lashing Reham Khan, the ex-wife of Imran Khan for producing a book with serious allegations on the PTI leadership including female party members. Hamza Ali Abbasi said Reham Khan, in her book, has attempted to malign the female news anchors and the institutions of Pakistan.
