The house of Supreme Court Advocate Azhar Siddique has been attacked with petrol bombs. Pertinent to mention here that Azhar Siddique is the lawyer of PTI Chairman and former Prime Minister Imran Khan.
According to the details, unknown assailants attacked Azhar Siddique’s house with petrol bombs. CCTV footage of the incident shows four men arrived on two motorcycles and threw petrol bombs over the gate of Azhar Siddique’s house. Furthermore, they also shot fired at his house.

Reacting to the incident, Azhar Siddique released a statement saying that such tactics would not stop him from supporting Imran Khan or from fighting for the nation. He said the attack is nothing new and challenged the assailants to come face-to-face.
Azhar Siddique called the incident terrorism and attempted murder, however, he asserted that he will not back down and will continue to fight. He asked the nation to keep him in their prayers.

Lately, people who have been very vocal in their support of Imran Khan have faced similar attacks, leading to accusations against the incumbent government of being fascist. The attack on Advocate Azhar Siddique’s house is being widely condemned on social media. Journalists and PTI leaders are deploring the attack while expressing solidarity with Azhar Siddique.

“I strongly condemn the attack on the house of Azhar Siddique Advocate. This government is going through every stage of fascism, and Azhar is boldly and bravely standing on the legal front against this fascist government,” Fawad Chaudhry said.

“The attack on Azhar Siddique’s house is highly condemnable. What message is being sent by attacking a senior lawyer’s house?” Asad Umar said.
“This is a very shameful act. Azhar sir, you are standing for the right, you are a brave man. Inshallah, Allah will help,” Dr Shahbaz Gill said.

“We condemn the petrol bomb attack on Azhar Siddique’s house. The effective voice of a lawyer like Azhar Siddique cannot be suppressed by these cowardly actions. The accused are being identified from the CCTV footage,” Farrukh Habib said.
