Pakistani actress Iffat Omar clarified her bizarre wow comments on a social media post regarding the death of Bollywood actor Surekha Sikri.

A screenshot of her bizarre ‘wow’ comment under the post on the death of Surekha Sikri went viral on social media. The weird action of Iffat Omar confused the fans and followers on social media. Her comments triggered a debate on social media. Some users wondered whether her account was hacked or not, others said that she had commented by mistake while a few thought she is allegedly mocking the death of Bollywood actor, Surekha Sikri.

The actress had not only posted ‘wow’ comments but also a fire emoji as well. This further confused the users on social media. Some users asked the actress to read the post carefully before commenting.

Iffat Omer clarifies her statements

Later the actress clarified that it was a huge misunderstanding on her part as she confused the post with something else. She, however, apologized for her mistake.

She said that she had not read the caption and just commented on her photo attached to the social media post.

Veteran Indian actress, Surekha Sikri, passed away at the age of 75 on Friday after suffering from cardiac arrest. She was among the most celebrated Indian actors and had appeared in several Indian serials and movies.

The news of Sikri’s death was announced in a statement that read, “Three-time national award-winning actress, Surekha Sikri has passed away following a cardiac arrest earlier this morning at the age of 75. She had been suffering from complications arising from a second brain stroke. She was surrounded by family and her caregivers. The family asks for privacy at this time.”

The senior star was admitted to a hospital in September 2020 after suffering a brain stroke. She suffered a brain stroke during the shoot of a serial. Surekha Sikri fell after suffering a stroke and had sustained head injuries that led to paralysis.
