Imran Khan invites passionate youth to become ‘Imran Tigers’

Imran Khan said that he wants the youth to become ‘Imran Tigers’ who will take his message in a door-to-door campaign and protect the mandate of the people.

PTI leader Imran Khan invites youth to join his new initiative, Imran Tigers, announced Tuesday. Khan released a video message on his official Twitter account; he called the ‘passionate youth’ to join the force.

Imran Khan said he wants youth to become ‘Imran Tigers’ who will take his message in a door-to-door campaign and protect the mandate of the people. These volunteers will be the agent of his campaign ‘Haqeeqi Azadi’ (Real freedom). They will spread his message and guard the elections against malpractices, including rigging and other irregularities.

“Imran Tigers will be the passionate youth of my country who will take my message to every nook and corner of the country,” he said in a video statement.

The former prime minister asserted a system of injustice and ignorance prevails in the country; the movement for true independence has entered its decisive phase. He said innocent people are being arrested and put in jail. Imran Tigers will defeat this lawlessness, said Khan in his video message.

He explained the process of how to join the force-send ‘Yes’ to the WhatsApp number shared in the video. After writing yes, a website link will appear in the message; volunteers can register themselves at the site. He said the educated and literate youth will play an important part in tackling tactics of rigging in elections. The aim is to oust the mafias that are ruling the country. He said he wants the youth to come forward and take part in saving the country.

PTI had claimed that it strictly followed the election process on the day of by-elections in Punjab. PTI members also claim that they thwarted several attempts of rigging at different polling stations. Party is focusing on training its members to be vigilant and watchful in the elections.

Imran Khan and party members have decided to beef up the pressure on the current system for free, fair, and fresh elections in Pakistan.

In another statement, Imran Khan congratulated the Former Governor Sindh Imran Ismail and the PTI candidate Mahmood Maulvi for winning the by-election in Karachi NA-245. The seat was left vacant after the death of PTI MNA Aamir Liaquat Hussain. PTI has won the seat with a heavy margin against opponents led by PDM coalition parties.
