Jill Dodd reveals she was Saudi billionaire’s ‘pleasure wife’

The Former Vogue model and the founder of Roxy brand, Jill Dodd says she never regretted being one of the “pleasure wives” of Saudi arms dealer Adnan Khashoggi.

Ms. Dodd said she had a notoriously luxurious life with Kashoggi during her years as his ‘pleasure wife’. The shocking revelations were made in her interview with 60 minutes.

Now 58, the model revealed in an interview that she was merely 21 when she accepted his offer. Khashoggi, 44, was already married and a father of five when he approached the model. But as per the Middle Eastern culture, he was allowed to have 12 women as his “pleasure wives” in his harem.

Former model’s confident and frequent laughs indicted she really cherished her life with an arms dealer Adnan Khashoggi. Perhaps the arms dealer knew how to arrest the attention of a young woman. According to her, she was carried away by his sleazy behavior.

“He pulled up my sleeve and he wrote ‘I love you’, I was like oh my god that’s blood and I was kind of shocked, but I thought it was really funny and cute at the same time,” she said.

Dodd also talked about how she lived a lavish lifestyle. From attending lavish parties of politicians and royalty, she also talked about the moments when they enjoyed their relationship.

“He said ‘I want to take care of you, I want to make a five-year contract with you. I’ll provide everything for you and you will be at my beck and call 24 hours a day’,” she said.

They had a bond of mutual understanding and according to her, they both jelled very well in their seven-year relationship. “He was great, we just melded together. He was a great lover, everything was just mutual and beautiful.”

The former model has exquisitely written a book on her love affair as ‘pleasure wife’ titled ‘The Currency Love’. However, she remorsed that Khashoggi will not be able to read her book since he died in June this year at the age of 81. Ms. Dodd said, she left his harem when she felt that her life as ‘pleasure wife’ was not serving her anymore. Jill Dodd is married and a mother-of-three. She has a son aged 32, and two daughters aged 22 and 17.
