Man arrested for punching several women in New York streets

Recently, women across New York City have reported attacks where they were approached by a stranger who punched them in the head or face.

Following numerous reports of women being randomly punched while walking on the streets of New York, authorities have apprehended the individual responsible for these unprovoked attacks, as reported by USA Today.

Skiboky Stora, a 40-year-old resident of Brooklyn, was taken into custody on Wednesday and charged with assault after allegedly assaulting at least one woman in Manhattan this week, according to a spokesperson for the New York Police Department speaking to USA Today.

The police disclosed that Halley Kate, a 23-year-old TikTok personality, informed them that she was walking near West 16th Street and 7th Avenue around 10:20 am earlier this week when she was struck in the head by an unknown assailant.

“The victim fell to the ground and sustained injuries to the left side of her face,” stated the police, adding that she received medical treatment at a local facility.

In recent times, numerous women across New York City have reported similar attacks where they were targeted by a stranger who punched them in the head or face.

Many of these victims have taken to TikTok to spread awareness and alert other women about the incidents.

The police launched an investigation which ultimately led to the arrest of Skora, although they did not provide details on what prompted them to suspect him.

The investigation is ongoing, and it remains unknown whether Skora has retained legal representation.
