The security guards of PML-N Supreme leader and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif have allegedly “assaulted” female protestors in London.

According to the details by Overseas Pakistani and avid PTI supporter Shayan Ali, the women were protesting against PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif when his security guards confronted them and “physically assaulted” the women.

Shayan Ali also shared a video showing the group of protestors following Nawaz Sharif and one of his security guards roughly shoved away a woman.

“Nawaz Sharif’s goons physically assaulted ladies who were protesting with me which resulted in a group chanting ‘Chor’ [Thief] as Nawaz Sharif walked into Avenfield House,” Shayan Ali said on Twitter while sharing the video.

Nawaz Sharif – who has been living in London since 2019 – has been facing a tough time from Overseas PTI activists who continue to protest against him. A group of PTI activists is often present outside his London office and residence that chants slogans and holds protests against Nawaz Sharif. There have also been incidents of violence in London between PML-N workers and PTI activists.

Scuffle between PML-N and PTI

Back in April, more than 15 assailants attacked the former premier’s office. Fighting between the attackers and PML-N workers lasted for about an hour. Several people received injuries. Videos of the incident went viral on social media. The local police arrived at the scene and arrested three involved including PML-N workers.

Another incident took place where PTI activists tried to attack Nawaz Sharif in London when he was coming out of his office. Reports stated that Shayan Ali and his mother used abusive language while filming Nawaz Sharif and rushed toward him. However, the security guards intervened. One of the security guards also received injuries.

On the other hand, Shayan Ali claimed that the security guards attacked him. A video also surfaced showing Shayan Ali and the security guard in a heated argument which ended with the security guard making a swing at Shayan Ali.

The reason why PTI activists are so amped against Nawaz Sharif is that he faces corruption charges back in Pakistan where he has not returned since 2019. PTI supporters, in line with Chairman Imran Khan’s narrative, demand that Nawaz Sharif return to Pakistan and be answerable for his crimes.
