Saba Qamar has called off her marriage with blogger Azeem Khan due to personal reasons, said the Pakistani actress on Thursday.
The decision came after a huge social media uproar from the public regarding Khan’s problematic behavior with the women. Several women had strongly protested against her decision to marry Azeem Khan.
Azeem Khan is an Australian-based entrepreneur and a social media influencer. Khan had proposed Qamar last week on an Instagram post to which the actress had accepted publicly. Now, in a public announcement, she has announced the cancellation of her marriage with Azeem Khan. The actress said that she is in deep pain currently and requested support from her fans and followers on social media.

In her social media post, the actress informed that she has not met Azeem Khan for once in his life. She was in contact with him only through the phone.

“Hi everyone! I have a very important announcement to make, due to a lot of personal reasons I have decided to call it off with Azeem Khan. WE ARE NOT GETTING MARRIED NOW. Hope you guys will support my decision just like you all have been supporting me always, and I guess it’s never too late to realize the bitter realities!”
Azeem Khan also posted a message on his Instagram news confirming the news. He added said that Saba Qamar did not write his part of the story.

Earlier, a girl had accused that Azeem Khan had deliberately made her private video public on social media for mere publicity. It is because of him she suffered unimaginable agony, received numerous threats on social media from unknown men. The accusation of the girl came soon after the news of the wedding of Saba Qamar and Azeem Khan went viral on social media. A score of celebrities extended wishes and prayers for the actress on Instagram.
