Bollywood’s leading Khan, Salman Khan, has struck a whopping Rs.450 crores deal with the producers of Big Boss. The actor is expected to charge INR 200mn for each episode of Big Boss 14.
India media critics have called it a mighty lucrative deal for the actor’s small-screen stint. They added that despite the drama, catfights and controversies, the episodes of the reality show that are broadcasted on weekends in which Salman Khan’s appears, garner the highest TRP records.
The industry insiders added that Salman Khan has upped the price of each episode to Rs. 20 crores. In the last season of Big Boss, Salman Khan charged Rs. 15.5 crore per episode.

“While the three-month stint works out to Rs 480 crore, the makers and Khan agreed to seal the deal at Rs 450 crore. The amount is inclusive of his fees for promos and virtual press conferences.
The producers at Endemol are willing to pay the remuneration as they know Salman is the primary reason for the show’s high TRPs,” said a source to the Indian publication.
Analysts have anticipated that if the makers decided to extend the show this year too – then the remuneration of the actor will be re-negotiated and the actor might end up roping in more profits from his small-screen stint.

Salman Khan will be returning as the host for the fourteenth edition of Big Boss set to begin in October. The Big Boss 14 will be a 12-week show, but the makers might decide to extend it.
