The son of Bollywood superstar, Shah Rukh Khan, has been arrested in a drug case. His son Aryan Khan was arrested by Narcotics Control Bureau after drugs were found on the cruise he was on.
On Saturday night, NCB officials raided a cruise ship off the Mumbai coast where they detained eight people including Aryan Khan on possession of drugs. He was officially arrested on Sunday after being detained for hours. NCB officials reportedly checked his phone to ascertain his direct involvement in the possession or consumption of drugs.
According to the report by India Today, the rave party began on the cruise once it left the coast of Mumbai and reached the mid-sea. Following this, NCB officials present on the ship immediately got into action and detained a number of people who were seen consuming illegal drugs.

The NCB officials had acted on a tip-off and boarded the ship disguised as passengers on Sunday. The raid was underway for over seven hours. Many rooms were searched by the officials. After the raid, the Empress Ship returned to the Mumbai international cruise terminal.
News18 claims that the Whatsapp chat of Aryan Khan shows he was regularly ordering and consuming drugs that allegedly makes a strong case against Aryan Khan.
In the aftermath of the arrest of Aryan Khan, several Bollywood celebrities have expressed solidarity with Shah Rukh Khan. “In all probability, Aryan will be arrested soon”, the sources had told News18.
According to sources, NCB seized drugs such as cocaine, hashish, LSB, and MD from those present on-board.

A Delhi-based entity had supplied most of the drugs for the party of the cruise ship. “There were other celebrities, too, on the cruise but those who were not found possessing drugs have not been detained,” said a top source to News18. The news of the arrest of the son of Shah Rukh Khan has cause a frenzy in Indian media.
