The PTI chief was booked under Section 7 of the Anti-Terrorism Act (punishment for acts of terrorism) regarding his comments at his Islamabad rally on Saturday.

According to the First Information Report (FIR), he threatened Additional Sessions Judge Zeba Chaudhry and police officers at a rally in F-9 Park to “terrorise” police officials and the judiciary.

The former premier had also taken exception to Additional District and Sessions Judge Zeba Chaudhry, who had approved his close aide Shahbaz Gill’s two-day physical remand at the request of the capital police, and said she should “prepare herself as action would be taken against her”.

Later, Imran Khan approached the Islamabad High Court to seek pre-arrest bail in the terrorism case against him which was approved.

Needless to say, the international media has been actively reporting on the terrorism charges against Imran Khan.
