American blogger, Cynthia D Ritchie, claims to be poisoned in her apartment in Islamabad. She was shifted to a hospital on Thursday after being found unconscious in her home.
Police say that she was soon shifted to Polyclinic hospital for treatment. Doctors say she was brought to the hospital in an unconscious state. Ritchie, however, claims that she was poisoned.
The hospital confirmed that her stomach has been washed and stuff extracted from it has been sent to the laboratory for the tests. Doctors say they are waiting for the final reports before they can comment on her health.

According to her statements as shown on ARY News, Cynthia D Ritchie claims that two Indian men came to her apartment and asked her not to work in Pakistan. Then they intoxicated her. According to the Police, she was brought to the hospital by her neighbor.
US blogger Cynthia D Ritchie is based in Pakistan for quite some time. She uses her social media platforms to promote the positive image of Pakistan. During her stay in Pakistan, she has worked on various documentaries that highlight the tourism potential in Pakistan.
Cynthia Ritchie accuses Interior Minister Rehman Malik of rape
Last year, she had claimed that former Interior Minister Rehman Malik of PPP raped her. Her shocking claims brought her in hot waters as she faced strong resistance from PPP leadership following her claims.
Cynthia claimed the top leadership of PPP raped and manhandled her in 2011. She blamed Interior Minister Rehman Malik, Health Minister Makhdom Shahabuddin, and Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gillani. In her shocking accusations, she claimed that PPP’s former Interior Minister Rehman Malik sexually assaulted her.

She repeated her allegations in a Facebook live video. Moreover, she invited journalists to thoroughly investigate her assertions in the video. Cynthia D Ritchie elaborated her claims further on Twitter. She said the incident happened at the Interior Minister’s House in Minister’s Enclave in 2011. The incident happened around the operation of American forces against Osama bin Laden in Abbottabad. Hence, she could not pursue her case.
She has unleashed several accusations against PPP previously in many of her Twitter statements.
