WATCH: Son of PML-N leader Nehal Hashmi thrashes police officers

As per media reports, police has even arrested former Senator Hashmi along with his sons. The accused sons were caught on video misbehaving and assaulting policemen.

Police have arrested the sons of Muslim League Nawaz leader, and former Senator Nehal Hashmi, in Karachi’s Saudabad area on Friday night over charges of misbehaving with police officials.

As per media reports, police has even arrested former Senator Hashmi along with his sons. The accused sons were caught on video misbehaving and assaulting policemen.

According to the reports, the family of Nehal Hashmi had an altercation with someone in Malir area, they assaulted policemen when they tried to intervene, says the SSP Korangi Faisal Naseer, reported Dunya News.

Police arrested Naseer Hashmi and brought him to the Saudabad Police station. The former senator also reached the police station to inquire about the arrest of his son. Upon seeing his father, the son misbehaved further with policemen. This time he even tore apart the uniforms of policemen.

Hashmi claims that policemen tried to stop him and his mother and even tried to come near his family. He informed that police beat him and his mother when he tried to stop them.

“They attacked my sister and mother,” his son added. The video of incident went viral on social media last night.

In the video, Hashmi reportedly says: “You are beating him, you are beating my son. Who are you?”

Later in the night, the daughter of Nehal Hashmi, Aisha Hashmi released a video statement on social media. She accused the police of misbehaving with her family and assaulting her 17-year-old brother.

“We were dragged into someone else’s matter. They misbehaved with me and my mother,” said the daughter of Hashmi. She said that policemen in plainclothes assaulted Naseer Hashmi, and humiliated her family. PML-N leader Muhammad Zubair said that it is a personal matter of Hashmi and party has got nothing to do with it.
