Wedding festivities of Pakistani cricketer Imam-ul-Haq kicks off in Norway. He is set to tie the knot with a Norwegian-based Pakistani girl Anmol Mehmood.
The bride shared her pictures from the Mehndi on Instagram. Mehndi event held in Norway. The rest of the wedding festivities of the 27-year-old cricketer will take place in Lahore.
Wedding festivities in Lahore will begin from Qawwali night which will take place on November 23rd, 2023. The Nikkah ceremony will take place on Saturday, November 25th, 2023, and the Valima reception on November 26th, 2023.
The wedding festivities of Imam-ul-Haq began right after he returned from India following the exit of Pakistan from the ICC ODI Men’s World Cup 2023.
Leading cricketers of Pakistan include former skipper Babar Azam, Muhammad Rizwan, Fakhar Zaman, Shadab Khan, and other members of management.
He will not attend the camp for Australia’s Test tour initially to be organized at Pindi Cricket Stadium. Faheem Ashraf will also be attending the camp later on due to his wedding.
Imam-ul-Haq however did not have a good time in Asia Cup 2023 and ICC ODI Men’s World Cup 2023.
In the cricketing world, Babar Azam announced his resignation as the captain of the Pakistan cricket team across all formats. The decision follows Pakistan’s disappointing exit from the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 group stage.
Azam, a highly regarded batter, shared the news on Wednesday, stating, “It’s a difficult decision, but I feel it is the right time for this call. I will continue to represent Pakistan as a player in all three formats.”
Meanwhile, Shan Masood has replaced him as the Test captain and Shaheen Shah Afridi has replaced him as the T20 captain.
